IDS for Level Crossings Safety at ILCAD
IDS will participate at 15th International Level Crossing Awareness Day – ILCAD taking place in Warsaw (Poland) from 14th to 16th June 2023.
Over the last 5 years our Radar Team has developed and successfully implemented a certified SIL4 Radar for Level Crossing Obstacle Detection in Italy (RFI) and the UK (Network Rail).
With zero preventative maintenance and a 20+ year MTBF, this Level Crossing Safety solution is a low “Whole Life Cost” alternative to Level Crossing closure or grade separation.
At the ILCAD conference we hope to meet and build relationships with Level Crossing safety professionals to explore further opportunities to help provide safer Level Crossings across Europe.
The International Level Crossing Awareness Day – ILCAD is a worldwide initiative to improve awareness of level crossing safety. The campaign has been spearheaded by the UIC, the worldwide railway organisation with the support of the railway community around the world.
