HOSTILE FIRE DETECTION
Military personnel in the field are always at risk of attack by small arms fire, rockets and mortars. Lives can be saved and damage to equipment minimized if Forward Operating Bases (FOBs), convoys, patrols and other military installations can receive advance warning of incoming rockets and mortar shells as well as information on the source of hostile small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades.
